I was going to wait until I read all six volumes of this before posting anything. But... I can do them one at a time. There's enough to talk about.
I'm gonna split this up by issues in the volume. So...
I need Hawkeye sheets...
Issue 1
Clint gets out of the hospital and meets a dog. Oh and the Tracksuit Mafia. The dog is more important.
Issue 2
Clint and Kate (woo! Katie Kate!) go to a fancy Cirque Du Nuit performance. They're criminals. Not Clint and Kate. They stop the criminals. And Clint gets to drive a boat! He is great a boats. Kind of shit at recognizing languages though.
Issue 3
Clint has nine terrible ideas. But damn does he have a nice jacket.
Issue 4
Part one of The Tape. Shield sends Clint off to deal with a tape that has been released of him assassinating someone.
Issue 5
Part two of The Tape. Clint and Kate kick ass. And don't take many names. Look, they were busy.
Issue 6
The issue of Young Avengers where Kate meets Clint. In this timeline, Clint was running around with the Avengers (who were hiding out for some reason, I can't remember why right now) as Ronin. Captain America gave Clint's bow to Kate in a previous issue of Young Avengers. And then Clint took it back in this issue. And was very entertained when Kate stole it back.

Oh my gods. I love these comics. Hawkeye is my favorite Marvel character. Both of them. Clint is an absolute mess in these comics.
Remember that bit from the Hawkeye show on Disney+ where Clint and Kate are in the car being chased by the Tracksuit Mafia and Clint is shooting fancy arrows out of the car? Yeah, that is from Issue 3. Plot is different, but the fight is damn similar.
Also, Clint owns an apartment building in these comics. Which plays a big part in them. Remember Grills from the show? Yeah, he lives in the building Clint owns. In the comics he's a white dude, and doesn't LARP as far as I can remember. He was only in a bit of one of these and he was... grilling...
I got the first issue of this series for free through Comixology years ago and figured I'd give it a shot. I was interested in reading more about Hawkeye, but didn't know that much about him. And by, about page two, I was in love.
If you want to read some Hawkeye comics, I highly recommend this run. And I give props to the people that made the Hawkeye show for putting in enough references to this run into the show that I was making embarrassing fan-girl noises for a good part of the show. Not sure how I feel about the Swordsman switch though... But I'm not going to get into that here. This is about the comic, not the show. Maybe if I ever get Disney+ back I'll rewatch the show and do a whole post about that.
And... That's about it. I was waiting to start volume two until I got this all written up so my brain didn't smoosh them all together. So, now I can go read that one. Yay!

Quite a few older games have gotten remastered versions and it has made me think about what other games need a remastered version. So here's a list!
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
This game renewed my love of video games after a decade of not being interested in them. It was also my introduction to RPGs. And gods do I want a remaster of it. I still play the original happily, but to have a remastered version with updated graphics and some new tweaks would be the best thing ever. And I know ASPYR did an update for Switch. I have it. But as far as I can tell it is the original game for Switch. They even canceled the second game's DLC which was gonna be a bunch of cut content which I forgot was a thing and am now sad about.
One request for a remaster, can I have a "holster weapon" button? I look like a tool walking around with my swords and blasters out all the time.
The Simpsons Hit and Run
This game was basically Grand Theft Auto, but Simpsons. And it was so great. I honestly just want a re-release of this game for maybe newer consoles. I don't need updated graphics or newer plot bits from the show added. Just give me the same game on something besides PS2. Which I still have and play, but still...
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
I have this game for original Xbox. And there was DLC where I could get Hawkeye. That I missed out on because by the time I learned DLC was a thing, the original Xbox store was shut down. So. I want a remaster so I can get Hawkeye. Because that is all I really care about.
Dragon Age: Origins
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the original. I still play it fairly regularly. Love it to bits. But, hey, gimme a remaster. Everyone else seems to be demanding it, so I’m gonna join the crowd.
Assassin’s Creed
This game deserves a remastered version for newer consoles. It is such a good game and I would like an updated version. I mean… Didn’t we get a remaster of Assassin’s Creed III? Well, Altair needs a remaster as well.
The Witcher
I didn’t know the Witcher was a thing until the second or third game was released. And by that point the only place you could get the first game was gog.com. Which I got. But I would love an updated remaster for consoles as well.

I stream a lot of stuff. I have access to a satellite but I mostly just watch Schitt's Creek repeats on it when our internet goes out. I also have a massive amount of DVDs and blu-rays. But honestly, I stream more than anything because it is more convenient.
I thought about doing a post for every cool show, movie, and YouTube channel I come across, but I wasn't sure I could stretch me rambling about one thing into a long enough post. So! A list post!
Here's how it's going to work. I will list six things, what platforms you can stream them on, and then I will ramble a bit about them. Hope you enjoy it and maybe find something new to watch.
Warnings: He plays a lot of horror games. So, any warnings you think those might have, apply.
CJU (I think his name is Chris, but there are already too many Chrises in my head so it will always be CJU to me) does video game playthroughs. Mostly horror games. His earliest videos don't have commentary, but I much prefer the ones with commentary. He's a funny guy. He has the same sort of sense of humor as me, so it's almost like watching a friend play the game. He does entire playthroughs from beginning to end. And most of the time he reads all the notes and such that you come across in games, which I like. I especially like his videos because I DO NOT like playing horror games for the most part. Too scary. But I love the plots and such for so many of those games. So, I want to see what happens, but my pansy ass will never get far enough in the games to actually know what happens. I enjoy all of his playthroughs, even if the game is shit or something I'm really not interested in. I highly recommend checking out his channel. He is funny, well-spoken, and has a nice voice. And it is fucking hilarious watching him slowly lose his mind during some games. Mother is a good example of this.
Hawkeye

I thought about starting off with something else from Disney+. There are so many great options on there and I wasn't sure if I wanted to start with something from the MCU. But fuck it. Y'all are gonna have to deal with me gushing about Hawkeye.
Clint Barton became one of my favorite comic book characters around the time that the first Avengers movie came out. Before that, I barely knew he existed. Now the boy is in my top five comic book characters.
I started reading the Matt Fraction Hawkeye run and was gone for the dumpster fire that is Clinton Francis Barton. And the more I watched the MCU the more I was sad that they weren't utilizing him at all. Much less showing off his character and abilities.
And then the show came out.
Oh. My. Gods.
There was just so much good with the show. Katie Kate and Lucky and the Tracksuit Mafia and the trick arrows. There was humor and heartbreaking moments that were both well done and not overused.
And Laura Barton! Oh, that woman deserves so much love. She is so awesome and the show lets that awesomeness shine with little screen time.
The show gave me the Hawkeyes I have been wanting for years. And I was very happy during every episode. Even while I was crying at a few spots.
Harley Quinn

This show is one of the best things I've seen in a while. It has two seasons as of this writing and both are fucking great. Animation is great. Voice acting is spot on. Plot, characters and all of that is fantastic. And the lack of Joker is just the best. I mean, he's there, but not often enough that I got annoyed. I am so tired of seeing Joker in fucking everything...
The show is hilarious and fun. Not "too dark" as people say a lot of DC stuff is. Though, it is very, very, very Not For Children. Unless you want your kid to know that Batman fucks bats...
Only Murders in the Building

Warnings: Murder. It is in the title, guys.
This show is about a murder. A murder in a building. Shocking, I know.
But seriously, this show is about Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) who live in an apartment building where a murder happens one evening. For various reasons, the trio of true crime podcast fans decide to do a podcast about the murder. Hilarity and mystery follow.
I was worried at first that Selena Gomez wouldn't be able to shine next to the legends that are Steve Martin and Martin Short. I enjoyed her immensely in Wizards of Waverly Place years ago and didn't want her to fade into the background of this show. Which she did not.
The show is a comedy and murder mystery and it blended both together fabulously.
Inside Job

I'm not gonna lie, I watched this show for Mothman. I'm a weirdo from West Virginia that is obsessed with cryptids. I saw a trailer and thought it looked fun and planned to watch it at some point. Then I saw that the Mothman was going to be in it and I went from "I'll watch that at some point" to watching the entire series within a week.
The show is an animated workplace comedy. The workplace just happens to be a government agency that keeps all those wild conspiracy theories (which happen to be true) under wraps.
the show is a delight. Well written and quite amusing. Characters are fun and not annoying.
Downside is that Mothman only shows up for, like, one episode. Need more of him.
Murder, She Wrote

Warnings: Murder. Lots of murder.
I never really watched Murder, She Wrote when I was younger. But, then I started watching Pushing Up Roses talk about the show and I just had to watch it. Got the Peacock app just so I could watch it. Though, I do use the free version. I can deal with ads for Jessica Fletcher outsmarting everyone.
For those that are unaware, this show is about Jessica Fletcher, a murder mystery writer, who just keeps stumbling across murders that she, for some reason, helps solve.
The show is surprisingly wholesome considering at least one murder takes place per episode. Jessica has various nieces and nephews and friends and former students that she visits. And she is a kindly aunt type of person to damn near everyone.
Some parts of the show aren't super believable, but c'mon, it's a fun little show. Also, I adore the friendship trio of Jessica, Seth, and Amos. Was sad when Amos left. But his replacement is pretty good as well.

Deadpool has a bunch of money, so he buys a boat and decides he's going to be a pirate.
That fails.
He hallucinates a bunch.
Then he decides he's going to join the X-Men. At this point in these comics, the X-Men are living on some island for whatever reason. Reason involves Norman Osborn.
Deadpool made his own X-Men uniform and everything! But Cyclops said no.
In the end, Deadpool does some crazy shit to make the X-Men look good. And everyone's happy.
Well, Norman Osborn wasn't happy. But fuck that guy.
The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl: Squirrel Meets the World by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale
This book was super cute and funny.
Doreen Green is an average, optimistic 14-year-old girl who has a squirrel tail and squirrel powers.
In the book, you follow her as she starts a new school, makes friends, and takes down a supervillain wannabe.
Two friends that Doreen makes are Ana Sofia and Tippy Toe.
Ana Sofia is a super-smart deaf girl that has mad detective skills.
Tippy Toe is a squirrel. What else would you expect?
There are chapters in Doreen's point of view, as well as Ana Sofia, Tippy Toe, and the super-villain wannabe. All with footnotes from Doreen.
Like I said before, the book was super cute. Wonderful characters and some cameos from other Marvel characters. Fun and enjoyable read from beginning to end.
When I say Marvel's Netflix Shows I'm talking about Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher. Which I binged in February when it was announced they were leaving Netflix. Three days after I finished all of them it was announced they will be moving to Disney+. Which I already assumed might happen, but I am overly paranoid and was afraid Disney might edit them so I wanted to get through a watching before Disney could mess with them. Which, I am not saying that will happen. I am saying I am weird and think of all sorts of worst-case scenarios for everything.
I was going to do a detailed summary of each season of each show in order with thoughts and opinions, but… Well, I binged them all and they’ve all smooshed together in my head. So instead, I’m going to do just a list of random thoughts and feelings about the entire series of shows. Spoilers for all, obviously. Also, fair warning, I had very little previous knowledge of any of these characters. I knew the most about Danny Rand and Luke Cage and just cause they were both in a Spider-Man cartoon that was on Disney a few years ago. Oh, and I knew a little about Daredevil from the Ben Affleck movie… But… Yeah… Here we go.
Not a huge fan of The Punisher. I don’t hate him or anything. I just don’t really dig him. Both seasons of the show were pretty good and worth the watch. But I’m not gonna run out and start reading all the comics.
Jessica Jones is fantastic and I will be running out and reading all the comics about her.
Claire Temple is a goddess and deserves much praise.
When Colleen told Danny that he was sleeping in the corner of her dojo, I automatically sent him to the corner anytime I thought he was doing something stupid. This carried over to all the characters. Anytime someone did something stupid I would send them to Danny's Corner. But by the end, it was no longer Danny’s corner. It was Trish’s corner cause she did some of the stupidest fucking shit out of all the shows.
Seriously, though. What the fuck, Trish?
I really wish we got another season of Iron Fist. Mostly I just wanted to see Ward and Danny off on an adventure and finding themselves and being bros.
Also want a Misty and Colleen show.
I really wanted Vanessa to turn on Fisk. Sad it never happened.
Why do the psychopaths in these shows end up with smart, beautiful women? I mean, it only happened twice, but that is still two times too many… Especially since none of the "heroes" got a relationship happy ending.
At the end of Punisher season one, Frank fucking destroys Billy’s face. Destroys it. I was very angry about the lack of scarring on Billy in season two. Yes, there was scarring, but, in my opinion, not enough for what was done to him. Or for him to fucking whine about it for half a godsdamn season.
Fucking Turk, man. Every time I started a new season of one of the shows I was immediately thinking “Wonder what Turk will be doing this time.” My favorite was in the first season of Luke Cage when he was “Where’s my money” at the fucking worst time possible. Second was playing golf by the river.
Danny could have been better written, at least in season one. He was naïve to a point of it being annoying. I expected him to be a little too trusting and naïve after returning from K’un-Lun, which he was and it worked. But sometimes he acted like a little kid and that didn’t work for me.
Hogarth went off the fucking rails, didn’t she? She started out as a stereotypical slimy lawyer, but by the end, I was just sitting here shocked at the shit she was doing.
I really wanted Jessica and Luke to get together and have their daughter, like in the comics. And for the third season of Jessica Jones I just wanted it to be them doing some crime-solving or something while the rest of the regulars from all the shows come in to baby-sit. And all the episodes just be focused on that. Come on. Picture Matt Murdock with a baby in a pouch and walking through the city. Misty panicking because she has no idea how to deal with babies. Danny trying to get little Dani to meditate. Just fantastic.
I really did not like the series finales for Luke Cage or Iron Fist. I think if there were another season for each show I would have been fine, but the endings I got were shitty. I feel like while the Daredevil finale left some questions unanswered and things were a little open-ended, it was still a satisfying enough ending to please me.
I thought Danny and Colleen were an adorable couple. I loved the scene where they’re trying to cook dinner and are both just confused and making it up as they go along.
Loved when Danny showed up in Luke Cage. Their team-up was just fantastic. I wished they would have done more team-ups or other appearances from each other in the shows after The Defenders. Even something small like when Luke showed up in Jessica Jones, season three. I would have even been happy with some name-dropping. Like, that scene where Hogarth tells Jessica that Trish will need a new lawyer since Trish doesn’t want Hogarth’s firm to represent her anymore. I would have loved for Jessica to make some comment about calling Nelson & Murdock or something.
David Tennant was fantastic as Kilgrave. Actually, all of the actors playing villains were fantastic. Vincent D’onofrio gave off such fantastic serial killer vibes. All the actors were great, really. I can’t think of a single actor that made me go “really? Couldn’t have cast someone better?” Also, I am aware of the complaints that Finn Jones was cast as Danny Rand, that an Asian or Asian-American actor would have been better. Which, yes. Okay. I can agree with that. But Finn Jones did a good job as Danny Rand, in my opinion. I’m just talking about the acting skills of those involved.
These shows did a good job at making their villains sympathetic. I didn’t agree with them, but shit I felt bad for the shit they had gone through.
I almost felt bad for Shades. Dude just wanted to help run a nice little criminal empire and he surrounded himself with people that have major family problems. And those family problems just keep causing trouble.
Was it just me or did Frank Castle’s voice have a Christan Bale as Batman vibe?
I really liked Micro in season one of Punisher. Was pretty sad that he didn’t return for season two.
Aside from my previous issue with season one Danny Rand, the characters were all well written.
That's all I got. Since the shows will be on Diseny+ soon, I will probably do a rewatch at some point and might do that nice organized season-by-season summary and review. But this is what y'all get for now.

Jaskier is cursed and the only way to break it is True Love’s Kiss (it’s totally a thing!) so Eskel makes it his goal to find Geralt, who he thinks Jaskier loves. But… It’s not? Maybe?
So, you’re stuck not doing social activities for the foreseeable future. Man, that sucks. I mean, for other people. I spent years avoiding social activities so I’m prepared for this. And for those less prepared, I got a list of random cool things I’m into that I highly recommend checking out.

Elementary. For those that don’t know, it is a Sherlock Holmes show with some slight twists on the classic. The main one being Watson is a woman. A beautiful, badass woman that deserves all the praise. Even Sherlock thinks so. It is by far my favorite Sherlock Holmes related thing that isn’t the original books. Available on Hulu.
Schitt’s Creek. This show is simply the best. It focuses on the Rose family, who were once super rich, but then their business manager screwed them over and they lost everything. They end up in Schitt’s Creek, some small town with no culture. Or much of anything really. It is funny, heartwarming, and has one of the best love stories I have ever seen on screen. I also feel this show is appropriate for kids around 11 and above. If you don’t mind them hearing some “bad” language. I’m gonna make Short Round watch it while she’s off school. First five seasons are on Netflix (sixth season is still airing).
The Assasin’s Creed series. These games are not only fun, but they’re also educational! Not even joking. You go through history, playing as different assassins. And the historical stuff that’s mentioned? It’s mostly true. Just take out the assassins and templars, and yep, that’s pretty much what happened. I highly recommend starting at the beginning, but if that’s not feasible, find a video that explains what happens in the games you missed so you don’t miss anything.
Zefrank videos on YouTube. His animal videos are some of the best things I have ever seen.
Scared to Death and Timesuck podcasts. So far I’ve just watched the Scared to Death videos, but I fell in love with them about a minute into the first one. Scared to Death is just Dan Cummins and his wife Lynze talking about spooky and scary things. It is great.
Bedtime Stories on YouTube. This channel covers a variety of stories that range from cryptids, mysterious deaths, conspiracy theories, and hauntings and they’re presented as a visual storybook. It’s almost like this guy is reading a bedtime story (eeeehhh, *nudge nudge* I’m hilarious) to me.
What We Do in the Shadows. A vampire comedy. And that is really all the reason you need to watch both the movie and TV show. Oh, how about Taika Waititi? Oh, you want to know what it’s about? Okay, so a group of vampires are being filmed by a documentary crew. Hilarity. Show is on Hulu. I think the movie is on Amazon Prime, not sure.
The Fraction Hawkeye run. Clint Barton is a mess. He’s a disaster. A dumpster fire. But hey, he has a dog. And a protege that might or might not be better than him. Also, Hawkeye vs. Deadpool is great.
Riodanverse books. These are young adult books but work for everyone if a kid is smart (Short Round started reading them in third grade) or the adult isn’t a douchebag (I read and love them). The books start with Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which features a kid, Percy Jackson, dealing with the fact that he is a demigod (a child of a god for those unaware). That set deals with Greek Mythology. Other series that take place in the universe cover other mythologies. I honestly cannot remember what has been covered and what hasn’t as it has become so vast. I remember Egyptian, Norse, Roman… And now there are new writers writing more books that all take place in the same universe. If you watched the Percy Jackson movies, I highly suggest you read the books. They are 6000 times better. If you haven’t watched the movies, I suggest skipping them if you expect them to follow the books.
